Privacy & Cookies Policy

1. Who we are
Ocybuild Studios (“Ocybuild”, “we”, “us”) is a business-building studio based in Accra, Greater Accra, Republic of Ghana. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at ocybuildsolutions@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +233 50 491 2653.
We handle personal data in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
2. What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, phone number, email address, business details and anything you tell us when you message us on WhatsApp or email, or speak to us on a discovery call.
- Project information. Documents, brand assets, account access and other material you share so we can do the work.
- Payment records. Amounts, dates and references for payments. Card and mobile money details are handled by the payment or escrow provider, not stored by us.
- Technical data. Like any website, your IP address and browser details are processed by our hosting provider when you load this site.
This website has no accounts, no contact forms and no analytics or advertising trackers.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and run your free discovery call.
- To prepare quotes, agree budgets and deliver the services you hire us for.
- To invoice, take payment and keep the records the law requires.
- To keep this website secure and working.
We only collect what we need for these purposes, and we process it on the basis of your consent, to carry out or prepare a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interest in running a secure business.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed: messaging and email providers (such as WhatsApp and Gmail), our website hosting provider, Google Fonts (which serves this site’s typeface), payment or escrow providers, and professional advisers. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside Ghana
Some of these providers are based outside Ghana, so your data may be processed in other countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected.
6. How long we keep it
We keep project records for as long as needed to deliver the project and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after a reasonable period. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including limiting who can access it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
8. Your rights
Under Ghanaian data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- delete data we no longer need or have no right to keep;
- stop processing your data in certain circumstances; and
- withdraw consent you have given us, at any time.
Email us to make a request. We will respond without undue delay. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other sites. This website uses only what it needs to work:
- One browser storage item that remembers you dismissed the cookie notice, so we do not show it again. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- Your device’s reduced-motion setting, which the site reads to tone down animation. We do not store it.
- Google Fonts. Our typeface is loaded from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Links to WhatsApp, email and other sites take you outside our website, and their own policies apply there.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.

Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to this website and to the services provided by Ocybuild Studios (“Ocybuild”, “we”, “us”) in Ghana. Each project is set out in a written quote or agreement, which can be sent by email or WhatsApp, covering the scope, price and milestones. If that quote or agreement conflicts with these terms, the quote or agreement applies to that project.
2. Our services
We offer business process and setup, branding and documentation, and digital presence (including websites), individually or together. We do not handle business registration; you register your business and we build everything else. The free discovery call carries no fee and no obligation.
3. Quotes, budgets and payment
- We agree a budget with you before any work begins.
- Projects are organised around milestones. We typically ask for an initial milestone deposit of 50% to reserve studio time and begin discovery.
- The remaining balance is due when you have inspected and signed off the completed deliverables, before final handoff.
- For international clients, multi-stage enterprise projects, or on your request, we will support third-party escrow.
- Prices are in Ghana cedis unless the quote says otherwise. We may pause work while a payment is overdue.
4. Timelines
Timelines are estimates. Most starter branding and website projects take 15 to 30 working days. Larger operational and business-setup projects run in agreed phases. Dates depend on you giving us the information, materials and feedback we ask for on time, and may move if those are delayed.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and the materials we need.
- Make sure you have the right to use any content, logos, images or text you provide.
- Review work and give feedback promptly.
6. Revisions and changes
Revisions are covered as set out in your quote. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately, and we will agree it with you before starting.
7. Ownership
When we receive your final payment, full intellectual property rights in the deliverables, master source files, production code and domain DNS handoffs transfer to your business. Until then we keep ownership. Where a deliverable includes third-party items such as fonts, stock assets or software, we will tell you, and their licence terms apply to those items.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Either of us may end a project by written notice. If a project ends early, you pay for work completed, time reserved and costs already incurred up to that point.
Payments are not automatically refundable. We only issue partial refunds, and only on a case-by-case basis, after considering the work done, the studio time reserved, any third-party costs, and the circumstances. Any refund is at our discretion and is confirmed in writing. This does not limit any rights you have under Ghanaian law that cannot be excluded.
9. Confidentiality
We treat your non-public business information as confidential and use it only to deliver your project.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill.
- We cannot guarantee particular business results, such as revenue, customers or approvals.
- Policies, SOPs and compliance documents we prepare are practical business documentation. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice, and you should take professional advice where you need it.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. This website
The content, design and code of this website belong to Ocybuild unless stated otherwise. Please do not copy it or use it to mislead others. We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If a problem comes up, we will first try to resolve it with you in good faith. If we cannot, the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. Projects already agreed continue on the terms they were agreed under. Questions? Email ocybuildsolutions@gmail.com.
