3. How and Why We Use Your Information

We process your personal data under the following lawful bases:

• Performance of a Contract / Pre-contractual Steps: Reviewing project briefs, generating custom proposals, scheduling discovery calls, and executing agreed deliverables.
• Legitimate Interests: Responding to client correspondence and ensuring the stability and security of our digital platforms.
• Consent: When you voluntarily opt in to project discussions or newsletter updates (which you can withdraw at any time).

4. Cookies & Browser Storage Policy

Ocybuild Studios maintains a clean, privacy-respecting website:

• Zero Tracking Cookies: We do NOT use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, Meta pixels, or surveillance scripts.
• Essential Session Storage: We use browser sessionStorage (specifically ocySeen) strictly to prevent the entrance intro animation from repeating while you navigate between pages during a single visit. This contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser tab.

We retain client project communications only for as long as necessary to fulfill active project commitments, satisfy tax and legal recordkeeping requirements, or until you request its deletion.

All data transmitted to and from our site is protected with modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption). We restrict internal access to client information strictly to studio staff directly handling your project.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We rely only on carefully vetted, privacy-compliant infrastructure providers:

• FormSubmit: Secure email relay service for processing website briefs directly to our studio inbox without persistent public database storage.
• Google Fonts: Static font delivery served over modern, secure CDN with no cookies.
